A Yummy Bachelorette Party Favor

The ultimate girls’ night out is just around the corner and you’re wondering what to stuff the guests’ goodie bags with. There are a lot of really nice items for sale on online party stores but some of the best ones are sold out while others are too expensive to get in bulk.
Here’s an idea. Why not make your own bachelorette party favor?
Instead of spending the budget on little trinkets that sooner or later would just end up at the back of an overcrowded closet, make ones that are edible.
This way, the ladies can enjoy it right away. It also makes as a good bonding experience for the bride’s girls if everybody helps out in making these.
A yummy bachelorette party favor would be willie-shaped cookies. Since it is a very popular shape for this occasion, chances are there are cookie cutters sold online.
If not, make your own by hand-shaping each cookie or forming a cutter with a wire. Here is an easy cookie recipe to follow (yields 4 dozen cookies):
4-3/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons salt
1-1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup and 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
1-1/2 cups and 2 tablespoons brown sugar
3/4 cup and 2 teaspoons white sugar
1 tablespoon and 1-3/4 teaspoons vanilla extract
3-1/4 eggs
3 tablespoons and 1/2 teaspoon corn syrup
1 tablespoon and 1-3/4 teaspoons milk
3-1/4 cups semisweet chocolate chips
3-1/2 cups chopped nuts (optional)
Preheat the oven at 350 degrees. Combine flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder. Then in another bowl, combine the butter, milk, eggs (one at a time), brown sugar, white sugar, and vanilla extract.
Once they are creamed, add the dry mixture and mix thoroughly. Then add the chocolate chips and nuts.
Scoop into cookie sheet and bake for 15 minutes. Let cool and enjoy your homemade bachelorette party favor!
