How to Plan a Bachlorette Party

A girl only gets one shot at having a great bachelorette party, so if you really want to make that last night out a memorable one, it’s worth investing some time and thought into planning the event.

Whether you want a wild hen party or a quite time relaxing with the girls, getting things planned out ahead of time keep the party fun and low-stress.

Consider the Bachelorette’s preferences

Not every bachelorette party has to involve going out to bars, getting tipsy and daring each other to do strange things with strange men.

You might want to go to a classy restaurant for dinner and drinks or spend the day at the spa. If you want something that gets the blood pumping but doesn’t necessarily involve guys, try something outdoorsy like rafting, hiking, cave exploring or even something more extreme like bungee jumping.

If you’re planning your own party, naturally choosing something you’ll enjoy won’t be too difficult.

In that case, though, just donít feel obligated to have a typical hen party just because you think thatís want your friends will enjoy.

Plan a few games

Once who have a theme and main event that will suit the bride-to-beís personality, you can choose a few games to keep things interesting throughout the night.

If you’re going out, you might want to pick some games that involve meeting guys and performing dares. If youíre staying in, there’s a huge variety of bachelorette party games (both clean and not so clean) you can choose from.

Get some snacks together

With all the great bachelorette party food ideas out there, you don’t want to waste the opportunity on ordinary party snacks.

Needless to say, foods in the shape of “the family jewels” are always a favorite.

Any phallic finger food will work as an appetizer and there’s weenie-shaped pasta (specially sold for adult parties) for side dishes or salads. For dessert, use naughty molds to make cake or Jello in suggestive shapes.

Take care of the details

Once you’ve picked a date, send out your invitations. Paper invites are best because it’s just too easy to forget verbal and emailed invitations.

When you’ve got your RSVPs and know how many people you can expect, you arrange for transportation you might need whether it’s a chauffeured limo or just someone to be the designated driver.

Don’t risk ending up with a dull bachelorette party by not planning. Get your games and refreshments planned out at least a week ahead of time and come party day, youíll be able to concentrate on having fun.
